The heart and brains of the Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor product family is manufactured using 3-D Tri-gate 22 nm transistors. The coprocessor is based on Many Integrated Core (Intel MIC) architecture and designed for highly parallel applications. The family operates within a 300 W thermal design point (TDP) envelope.
