Parallel Computing Toolkit 2.1
Parallel Computing Toolkit 2.1 is designed for use by engineers, scientists, and analysts for product design and problem solving. The toolkit allows anyone with access to more than one processor to perform parallel computation, regardless of whether the processors are multiprocessor machines, networked PCs, or a Top500 supercomputer. This package implements programming primitives for writing and controlling parallel Mathematica programs as well as high-level commands for common parallel operations. Programs written using the toolkit are platform independent and can run on any computer for which Mathematica is available. The toolkit is also a major component of gridMathematica and Mathematica Personal Grid Edition.
